Bidlogix
Developer API

Build your own
bidding application

Full infrastructure access for teams that need complete control. A typed TypeScript SDK, REST and WebSocket APIs, SSO integration, and webhook access — we handle the WebSockets, state management, and race conditions so you don't have to.

What you can build with

Three API surfaces cover the full auction lifecycle — management, reporting, and real-time events.

Auction & item management

Create auctions, upload items and images, and manage registrants programmatically.

  • ✓Auction Create (Live or Preview)
  • ✓Items Create & Update
  • ✓Images Add / Delete
  • ✓Registrants Update

Reference & reporting data

Pull auction results, sales values, bidding activity and reference data into your own systems.

  • ✓Auctions & Auctioneer Lists
  • ✓Items & Sales Value Reports
  • ✓User Bidding Report
  • ✓Vendors List & Vendor Reports

Real-time WebSocket stream

Subscribe to a live stream of auction events — the same infrastructure that powers BidJS bidding.

  • ✓wss://broadcast.<region>.bidjs.com
  • ✓Live bid and status events
  • ✓40× concurrent connection capacity vs our previous long-poll implementation
  • ✓Native browser WebSocket support

Authentication

Management API requests are authenticated with a cryptographic signature generated from credentials issued to your account. Bidder-facing sign-in can run through your existing identity provider.

Code Examples

Add the BidJS script tags, configure window.bidjs, install the TypeScript SDK, sign your management API requests, and stream real-time events over WebSocket. For AI-built auction experiences, see our guide to auction infrastructure for AI.

Dedicated Environments

For high-volume marketplaces requiring isolated infrastructure, dedicated AWS environments are available in an agreed AWS region. Bidlogix operates multiple regional AWS environments, and customers can request their deployment region. A 99.99% SLA is available for qualifying deployments.

Staging environments are available for testing unreleased features before they reach your production deployment, and a public demonstration environment lets you build against demo data before you sign up.
