Bidlogix
Embedded auction platform

The auction platform
for your website

BidJS is a JavaScript embed that puts real-time timed and webcast auctions on your website, fully branded as your own. There's no shared marketplace taking a cut, and nothing for your bidders to download.

Live this week, not next quarter

BidJS is SaaS, so there's no implementation project, no onboarding queue and no professional services invoice. See what auction software costs, then sign up, embed the plugin and load your catalogue. Most platforms in this market take weeks to get you to your first sale.

One-click WP-admin route

Install the BidJS WordPress route from your WP admin and get started quickly.

WordPress powers a large share of auctioneer sites, making this the fastest path for many teams.

Build one from a prompt

One line was enough: '@Sites Create an auction website that uses BidJS demo code found at docs.bidjs.com'. ChatGPT reads our documentation and wires up the bidding itself. Needs a paid ChatGPT Work plan.

Pricing

Straightforward pricing for your auction volume

BidJS uses a fixed monthly fee based on sell-through volume and the features required.

No commission on sales. We never take a percentage of the hammer price or of buyer's premium.

Every plan includes the Bidlogix back office — sale setup, registrant approval, invoicing and reporting.

What BidJS does

Built over a decade working with auction houses across fine art, antiques, industrial, real estate, and charity sectors.

What your bidders get

Timed online auctions

Run fully automated timed auctions where each lot closes at a scheduled time. Stagger the closings across your catalogue so lots close one after another. Bidders stay watching instead of drifting off after a single lot ends.

Live webcast auctions

Host live auction room events with floor bids, phone bids, and internet bids all competing in real time on the same lot. Your clerk marks floor and phone activity; internet bidders connect via WebSocket and receive every update in real time.

Buy now & make offer

Add fixed-price Buy Now options alongside traditional bidding. Buyers who want certainty can purchase immediately at your set price — other bidders carry on competing until the Buy Now is triggered.

Max bid / auto-bid

Bidders set a maximum and let the system bid on their behalf. BidJS increments automatically whenever they're outbid, up to their stated maximum — just like a traditional commission bid.

Overtime / soft close

Anti-sniping protection built into every timed auction. Set an overtime window of typically 2–5 minutes and any bid placed near closing automatically extends the lot, giving competing bidders time to respond.

Private treaty sales

Run off-auction direct sales alongside your live catalogue. Private treaty listings show a fixed asking price or an enquire prompt, and all enquiries come straight through to your team via the BidJS dashboard.

Multi-currency & multilingual

BidJS is fully internationalised. Display estimates, current bids, and invoices in any supported currency, formatted automatically to local conventions. Run separate currency environments for different regional sales.

What your team gets

Auction & registrant management

Set up each sale, review its registrant list, and manage bidder access from one place. Your team can see who is ready to bid and resolve access issues before the auction starts.

Bidder registration & deposits

Control exactly who can bid in each auction. Require identity verification, a refundable deposit, or manual approval before anyone gets access to bidding — all configurable per sale.

Payment integrations

After each auction closes, BidJS calculates buyer's premium, generates itemised invoices grouped per buyer, and delivers them to winning bidders once approved by your team.

Bidder data ownership

Every bidder who registers on your BidJS-powered site is yours — not Bidlogix's, not a shared marketplace's. Your bidder database is exportable at any time in standard formats, with full GDPR-compliant data handling.

Mobile bidding

BidJS works fully on mobile in any browser.

No app, no download, no refreshing. Bidders can browse lots, register, and place bids from any phone or tablet using the browser they already have.

Add a branded app

A branded native app is available as an optional extra for BidJS customers. Its one real advantage is push notifications — outbid alerts, lot closing soon, auction starting. Everything else the app does, the mobile web experience already does.

Our own demo app is available if you want to see BidJS on a phone. See the demo app on Google Play →
